StylusX Roadmap — Growing Together
StylusX is not just another app — it’s our vision of what a digital drawing software for Windows should feel like: fast, intuitive, and professional.
Since day one, our goal has been to give artists the same smooth, natural drawing experience that’s usually only found on tablet-exclusive apps, but now fully optimized for PC.
Launching StylusX on the Microsoft Store was just the first step. This soft launch gives early users access to a powerful creative toolset, while allowing us to gather feedback, improve performance, and shape the future of StylusX together with the community.

Where We Are Today
StylusX is already packed with everything an artist needs to create professional work.
Brush Engine: Natural stroke response with pressure sensitivity and tilt support, allowing realistic sketching and painting.
Unlimited Layers: Full layer control with grouping, opacity, and blend modes.
Custom Interface: Designed for touch and stylus, minimal but powerful — no clutter, just focus.
Transform & Selection Tools: Scale, rotate, and manipulate objects easily.
Color Management: A palette system built for speed, letting you store and recall favorite colors instantly.
With this foundation, artists can already produce illustrations, concept art, and designs without compromise. But we’re only getting started.
Our Near-Term Focus
The next stage is all about refining the core experience and making StylusX even smoother.
1. Performance and Responsiveness
We’re pushing to reduce latency and improve brush rendering speed, so every stroke feels instant and natural.
Optimizing performance is our highest priority — because a drawing app should never get in the way of creativity.
2. Expanded Brush Settings
Brush settings are already a core part of StylusX — but we’re taking them further.
We’re adding more parameters and deeper customization options, so you can refine flow, pressure curves, and dynamics with even greater precision. The goal is to give you professional-level control while keeping the interface intuitive.
3. Creative Effects & Adjustments
Coming soon: color adjustments, filters, and special effects to expand your visual possibilities. From subtle lighting tweaks to dramatic post-processing — you’ll have more ways to make your art shine.
4. 3D Camera & Object Integration
Our 3D Camera Assistant will get major upgrades.
You’ll be able to place and manipulate 3D objects directly on your canvas, using them as perspective guides or references — a huge leap for concept artists and illustrators working with complex scenes.
5. New Creative Tools
We’re also expanding the toolset with Text Tool support for adding typography to your artwork, and an Animation Timeline for those who want to create frame-by-frame motion.
And for sharing your process, we’re adding Time-Lapse Recording so you can easily showcase your artwork from start to finish.
Long-Term Roadmap
StylusX is meant to grow over time — not just as a tool, but as a platform.
Continuous UX & UI Improvements
We want StylusX to stay modern and comfortable. Expect interface refinements, better accessibility options, customizable shortcuts, and a smoother workflow at every step.
Feature Expansion
Future plans include:
More advanced blending engines
Gesture-based shortcuts
Multi-touch improvements
Possibly animation tools and timeline support in later releases
Community-Driven Development
We are building more than software — we are building a community.
Our future updates will be guided by your feedback. We plan to open channels where artists can share feature requests, vote on priorities, and directly influence what comes next.
Sustainable Growth Model
StylusX is a one-time purchase app — no subscriptions, no paywalls.
This lets us focus on delivering value through meaningful updates instead of locking features behind recurring fees. Our long-term vision is a thriving ecosystem where brushes, color packs, and add-ons enhance your creativity — but the core app stays yours forever.

Why This Roadmap Matters
Roadmaps aren’t just for developers — they’re for you, the artists who rely on StylusX.
By sharing our plans, we’re inviting you to be part of this journey, to give feedback, and to help us make StylusX the best drawing experience possible.
Transparency builds trust.
And trust is what turns an app into a platform — and a platform into a creative movement.
